About Pan Application
Overview
PAN (Permanent Account Number) is required under Section 139A of the Income Tax Act for filing returns, opening bank accounts and specified financial transactions.
Company Mitra prepares and submits Form 49A or 49AA through Protean or UTIITSL and tracks it till allotment.
- Form selection and filing
- Tracking till allotment
- e-PAN
Individuals with Aadhaar can get a free instant e-PAN, but companies, LLPs, firms, trusts, societies, NRIs and foreign entities need to apply through the regular process. Errors in name, date of birth or father's name are common reasons for rejection, so we check every detail against your documents before filing. PAN is a lifetime number and must be linked with Aadhaar where applicable. Holding more than one PAN is not allowed, so we check for existing PAN before applying.
